Commonly shortened to Valentine’s Day, it has over the centuries traditionally become a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards.

Nigerians and Lagosians especially, are not left out as fast-food businesses, hotels, churches, schools and other organizations have lined up activities to mark the day.

The hotel is also offering lots of Valentine’s gifts while the casino end is offering double-up vouchers with complimentary three nights in Dubai, courtesy of the Royal Club, Dubai.

Others, such as Woodbridge Hotel Royal in Ajao Estate and Airport Hotel, Ikeja, have lined up activities, specially designed for lovers to mark the day.
